D.A. Miller, PhD, aka “DrDon” has worked in computers and software for over 30 years, but no longer makes either. He has become increasingly sensitive to usability issues for software and web sites. Frankly, both GUI and HTML coding are often made by youngish people who do not realize that most seniors and all color-blind have vision issues. Most web sites get ugly when someone dials up the browser text size, as seniors often do. Most programs do not allow stretching the font size.
DrDon has a fondness for “shareware” / “trialware”, and has published several such programs, as well as numerous articles and ebooks for users of computers and the internet. Some excellent free or low cost programs do the same job as expensive major brand products, but lack the high cost marketing promotions. Sadly, not all earn enough to keep them available to the public.
This site is a portal to downloadable software for end users of computers and internet. Some reviews by DrDon and links to other authors will be added over time.
